WELL Sora has ended up in Leon's world one way or another, though it's unfortunately without his Disney friends. Which is a little confusing, but it's not something he can't handle. He'll just have to search for them, is all. Though while searching for them, he comes across Leon's mansion, and in the process of peering over at it to scan the property for his friends, he notices a small black heartless-like figure slipping in through an open window. ]

A Heartless? Here? [ Nooot good.

Well, searching for his friends can wait — or maybe they're even in that mansion, in which case they'll need his help. Regardless, taking care of this takes priority, and he rushes in through that open window as well, to the sight of the creature he's chasing making its way through the open room.

Wherever Leon is in his home, he'll probably be able to hear Sora shouting. ]

Hey, get back here!

[ Like that's really going to stop the Heartless. ]

[It's late enough that Leon's been able to return home for the evening--it's actually rather peaceful, with a cup of tea on the desk and a report in front of him to write, and Marian somewhere in the manor, bustling around and doing her Marian thing. Leon's pretty satisfied with the day, in a relatively (unusually) good mood.

Especially... well, naturally he misses the Heartless, because that's how these things tend to go, but he doesn't miss the sounds of someone clattering through the window, and immediately, he's moving towards the first floor to see what's going on, Chal in hand.

Once he hears Leon shouting at him, he quickly turns his head to look at him. And then back to the Heartless, and then back at him. Oh. If he takes too much time to talk to Leon and explain, the Heartless will get away. So, quickly — ]

There's something in here I need to take care of! [ That seems good enough, right? If he says Heartless and this guy doesn't know what one is, it make take more time to explain things, and —

Turning back to look at the Heartless, it's no longer there, and probably seems to have slipped into the next room over. Whoops. ]

[ this is all i needed in my life tbh.

Upon arriving in this world, Sora's found himself in a bit of a pickle. His friends aren't around, and he's stuck in this room with too many doors, all with different animals associated with them. And after going through random ones a couple of times, all that's come of it is ... ending up in the same room again like nothing happened. This is a little frustrating. And seeing as his friends are missing, it's not like he has all day.

So whenever Stahn arrives, Sora will be looking on at the room, leaning forward a little with his finger on his chin, very clearly thinking hard about whatever is up with this place. And talking to himself. ]

I know there's gotta be some sort of trick to this. But what? Maybe ... [ Alphabetical order ...? Or smallest to largest? Maybe largest to smallest? Going through random ones isn't working so it's time to wrack his brain (admittedly not something he's fantastic at). ]

[the problem here is that stahn showing up, also mysteriously separated from the party (why? rule of convenience, probably) is that he's not the problem solver of the group.

not... well, definitely not when it comes to puzzle-solving. his other friends are definitely a lot more adept at that sort of thing, so when it comes to mysterious door puzzles, it's not like stahn will have the answer right away.

so once he's made it through to that room in an attempt to meet up and find the other swordian masters (and mary and johnny too), he's.

well, a bit puzzled himself to see a total stranger standing there and looking about as puzzled as he will in a minute.]

[ So Sora has ended up in Emil's (wonderful) world while trying to get elsewhere, and while world hopping is a normal thing to him, it's not all that normal to lose track of Donald and Goofy in the process. And thus, confusion. And a little concern, but he's not letting that become a thing yet.

So wherever Emil is in his mansion, he'll likely be able to hear Sora's shouting from somewhere. ]

Donald! Goofy! Where are you guys? This isn't the time for hide-and-seek, you know.

[ Not exactly a familiar voice or familiar names, are they? ]

[ So it's been some odd months since Yayoi's learned how to fight the forces of evil, and by forces of evil, we mean everyday objects that get evil clown noses and try to wreak havoc.

Which is still a problem, but the point is that Yayoi's fought forces of evil before!

But that was one force of evil, and what she's facing now are little black things that make absolutely no sound that keep chasing after her, and all because she'd forgotten her sketchbook in class.

Or so she's assuming, because there sure are a bunch of them twitching after her in the hallway of her middle school now. ]

[ It's okay, it's not because she left her sketchbook in class.

But it's a good thing Sora's here at the right time, then. As he tends to be. He hears her shout, and while he's hoping he'll find his friends somewhere around here, he can't just ignore someone who's in trouble in his vicinity. So he immediately perks up, before rushing to the source of the scream.

And once he finds her — ] Heartless! Don't worry, I'll take care of 'em!

[ And with that, he moves in to take them out with his Keyblade — they're weaker Heartless, so it's not much of an issue for him. But they could mean there are stronger ones around here, too, and that's ... not good. ]

[ Heartless? What on earth is that?? And is that some sort of... giant key??

Yayoi should probably not be wondering these questions until later, but considering she can't really do much (obviously she can't transform right now when she has no idea who this person even is), she has to settle for hugging her sketchbook close and nodding as she shrinks back.

[Kairi really shouldn't be so surprised to find him napping in the sand again. But, well, given....everything, he and Riku have definitely deserved some rest, a break. This isn't over. But that's just why she's happy to spend time with them again, doing whatever, even if it's sometimes just sitting and listening to them talk about their adventures. If Sora wants to nap, she knows she should probably leave him to it if he's that tired. But at the same time, she can't help herself approaching. It's almost nostalgic, the way she stands just behind his head, casting a shadow over his face.]

Sora, you lazy bum. Class tired you out that much? Or was it your sparring again with Riku?

[She's been trying to help them both catch up with school at least. But it doesn't come as easily for Sora in comparison, depending on the subject at least.]

[ Sora is not the best with school and studying, that's for sure.

He's not completely out when she comes to talk to him — more like half asleep. So when he notices the sudden shade over his face, he cracks an eye open.

And then he yawns once she's finished talking, moving his hands behind his head as he looks up at her. ]

You know, it's probably the class. [ He can handle fighting a thousand heartless at once and ridiculous number of boss fights in a row, but studying? Much harder. ]

I know you're still sparring and training, but you know I can help with school if you need it, Sora.

[Not that she didn't miss out on some classes herself and need to catch up, but even so, she's been present for more of her academic studies than either of the boys. So she has to at least offer this, in knowing and understanding that they were kind of off saving worlds.

It seems like a perfectly valid excuse for missing class, really. Still, she gives a shrug, smile tugging at her lips as she reaches to brush some hair falling at her shoulder to behind her ear.]

[ A visit to the flower field on Lhant Hill today isn't as peaceful as previous days. Her heightened senses picked up on new creatures, neither from Ephinea or Fodra. Yet, she knows they're bad news. Hostiles. ]

Sophie spins and flips around, knocking back mysterious shadow-like creatures with a combination of her martial artes and light-based artes. She has to stop them, to keep them from getting to town and to protect those closest to her. ]

Hah! Ahh...!

[ After delivering a few more kicks, she pauses to take a breather. ]

[ Never fear, Sophie, Sora is here. With impeccable timing. He'd somehow ended up here without his friends, and in the process of looking for them came upon Lhant Hill. He doesn't catch the part where she's capable of fighting, but even if he had, she seems tired out anyway — and that means he's worried about her.

So, as he runs up the hill, Keyblade now in hand. ]

Hey! Get back! Those are Heartless!

[ Hopefully she heeds his warning. If not, then he'll be arriving to her side in a few seconds anyway, just — he doesn't want her to get hurt, okay. ]

Sophie has all kinds of questions to ask him, but they need to be saved for afterward. There's much more important matters to take care of first.

[back at the island. back where it all began. to think they're all back at school today as though nothing ever happened. but it did. a lot happened and, most importantly, he was the cause of it all.

with a sigh, riku flops down on the floor of the school roof. cutting class? nah, cutting lunch. who needs to eat when they're too busy brooding?

people could tell he's changed and not just because of the new haircut. the cocky brat of a kid ended up replaced by someone who... well, remained just as cocky but also avoided people more so than before and rarely lowered his guard. sora and kairi and all their friends welcomed him back with open arms but doubts about his right to remain in the light keep lingering. rightfully so, in riku's oh so humble opinion. he allowed darkness to not only swallow him, but destroy so much and harm so many people. that darkness isn't fully gone, either. it's there right alongside the light.

once positive no one's around, he lifts a hand up and summons his keyblade. it's his. it's really his but does he deserve it?

[ No one may have been around when Riku checked, but Sora arrives not too long after. Upon realizing Riku was missing, which admittedly didn't take him long, he immediately packed up his lunch and set out to search the school for him. His best friend is more important than getting to eat his food right away.

And perhaps due to some sort of Riku detector in him, he opens the door to the roof to spot his best friend on the ground. ] Riku ...?

[ And then he makes his way over to him, leaning down to tap on his friend's Keyblade a couple times once he reaches him. ]

You can't eat your Keyblade, silly.

[ Of course, referring to the fact that he's skipped lunch and apparently not eaten anything, if the lack of food or trash around him is any indication. ]

[somehow, he expected this. this must be what having a puppy feels like. wanting some alone time leads to the puppy following you wherever you go, whether it be to the dark realm or to the school roof.

leave it to sora to counteract the brooding in the most sora-- no wait, most stupid way possible. same thing usually. this way also leads to riku snorting and smiling the softest bit. sora always has to be sora and that's the way it should be. as undeserving as he may be of this friendship (and kairi's, too), he wouldn't trade it for the universe.

though maybe him being a little less sora couldn't hurt in this case. eat his keyblade? really??]

Last I checked, skipping lunch doesn't amount to fasting for a month.

[just one meal won't make him hungry enough to attempt devouring a magical weapon, gosh!! he lets the keyblade vanish with a flash and drops his arm back down to his side.]

[ While the Berseria party stops off in a port sometime after those Events, separating to take care of their various agendas throughout the town, Sora arrives. He'd only just barely arrived here, in this world, somewhere out in the fields, when he spotted a Heartless making its way into the town. So, naturally, he followed.

Unlucky for Magilou, these events lead to him interrupting a little show she'd been putting on for a few townsfolk. He's almost entirely oblivious to it, focusing on the Heartless more than his surroundings — so first, a small black creature runs right between Magilou and her small crowd, and then moments later, Sora comes barreling through, giant key in hand.

Also shouting, if running through her show weren't interruption enough. ]

Get back here!

[a trick here, another there and oh the crowd is eating out of the palm of her hand!! why is she so great? so grand? so great grand? magilou basks in the wows and cheers while about to ready up another one of her amazing tricks. right as she gears up for it-- woosh!!

Ah! It looks like my assistant just let the rabbit jump out of the hat! We at Magilou's Menagerie apologize for the technical difficulties and the show will resume once all hares are present and accounted for!

[ WELL you wanted snowy place, you're getting snowy place.

And you know what's happening in that snowy place? Somewhere up above, an avalanche is starting due to the actions of whatever monsters Sora was fighting — whether it was a large monster displacing the snow too much, or a loud one causing the snow to lose its hold — and Sora, along with a good deal of snow, is now falling.

Right into Velvet's party, effectively separating her from the group and also trapping her in the snow with him.

He'll pop his head out of the snow a few moments after it settles, gasping, and then placing a hand on his head. ]

Aw, man ...
