if not (or if you have other ideas or are a castmate) then you can write something up to start!!

[ Wow, Sora is not a punkass kid. He's just a kid that does a lot of trespassing to save people and this is one of those instances. Okay.

That shouting gets Sora to stop in his tracks, looking back at Leon again as the Heartless continues to slip away. Seeing Leon with a sword drawn really gets through to Sora that this guy isn't screwing around ... nor is he happy. And ... answer to him?? Oh gosh, Sora does not want a fight. Leon please.

He puts his hands up apologetically, before almost comically realizing he's moved when he was told not to and putting them back down. ]

Wait, wait! I'm sorry! I don't want a fight! I promise!

[ It would seem he needs to fix this situation before he can go off after that Heartless, otherwise there's just going to be unnecessary trouble and misunderstandings. ]

[Shut up Sora it's boss battle time!!!!

... Okay maybe not. Not even Leon's going to attack a kid who isn't even armed. He scowls, frowning tightly, and keeps his sword up and pointed at Sora.]

... Explain yourself, and do so quickly. I do not have the time for nonsense right now.

[ It's a good thing the Keyblade is easy to summon if this guy does come at him suddenly, but. Talking. Talking instead of fighting is good. Though he hopes it doesn't take too long, and Leon's last comment gets to him a little, as he sounds slightly frustrated as he comments to himself, somewhat quietly. ]

And I do? [ He doesn't have time for this either, okay!!

But. ] Well, I saw a Heartless come in here, so I came in after it to stop it! If we leave it too long, the people here might be in trouble! You gotta let me go!

[ May as well tell the truth, and all. He's not one to lie much anyway. And if he informs him of the danger, surely he'll let him go after it, right? ]

Which is written all over his face for a moment, as he looks down, troubled and trying to figure out a plan, before he looks back up at him, determined. ] If you want, you can follow me! That way, you can watch me so I don't cause any trouble. And when we find that Heartless, you'll see I'm not lying!

[ Is that enough?? He hopes it is. ]

[If this had been any other time, Leon wouldn't have allowed it. He would've kicked Sora out of his house, fiercely and without any regrets.

But.

He's spent the past few months with Stahn, and it's Stahn he thinks of now. This kid... might be just as well-meaning and might sincerely have a reason to be here, and by all rights he should probably figure that out first--

He huffs out an aggravated breath. Ugh. Life was easier before Stahn.]

[ Life is generally easier for a lot of tsuns before their sunshines enter their lives.

But he's relieved when his plan seems to have worked, smiling in response and nodding. ]

[ And he finally turns around to run off in the direction the Heartless went in, frantically looking through the room. ]

If you see something small and black moving around, give me a shout, okay?

[He's kind of worried, because no matter how much Sora smiles, he doesn't really trust people who break and enter into his home?

But fine, fine... He scowls, but keeps Chal in hand as he goes to look for "something small and black". Ugh.]

That is far from descriptive... this is likely a useless wild goose chase.

There's...something small and black there. Leon's actually so startled that Sora was right that he freezes for a moment, gaping.]

[ And Sora picks up on his abrupt end to his sentence, mostly because he's wondering what Leon was going to end it with. And he turns toward him. ]

You'll ... what?

[ Leon looks ... off? Weird? After that hardcore swordsman act Sora's been witnessing, it's kind of odd to see him like that. But then he follows Leon's line of sight, and lo and behold there's a small Heartless hanging around. Which prompts Sora to move fast, running in front of Leon, between him and the Heartless, and summoning his Keyblade. ]

It's the Heartless! Stand back!

[ And off he bounds, quickly taking it out like he's done a thousand times before. Thank goodness. ]

[... Yeah Leon's mostly just looking baffled. Why is this even happening... how did this thing get in his home.

Why is this punk perky kid taking care of it now.

Why was he telling the truth?

Which is...what he begrudgingly says after a moment.]

[ Of course he wasn't lying, he's Sora. Gosh, Leon.

He straights up, de-summoning his Keyblade and walking back over to Leon, rather casually. The Heartless wasn't anything out of the ordinary for him. ]

I told you I wasn't! [ But it's okay, he won't hold it against you. ] I guess that's the first time you've seen a Heartless then?

[ Which means they may not be a big problem in this world yet, thank goodness. But this means he'll have to work to prevent it from becoming a problem. ]

[ Where there's one Heartless, more always follow. While he's sure Leon could handle himself given that sword he's got, others likely aren't so lucky. ]

[This is a sunshiney idiot that reminds him of another sunshiney idiot who acted the same way, and Leon's eyes narrow for a moment at the thought of two of Stahn.

But now Sora is going to be unintentionally obnoxious and (very seriously) straighten his back and put his hand to his head in a salute. Yes, he's treating him like a cool knight. ]

[ Does Sora really mean that? To an extent. Because when he does eventually leave the premises, if he sees a couple Heartless go in Leon's house, you bet your ass he's going to follow them anyway. ]

And that counts for something, even if Leon's left wondering if that salute was sincere or mocking. (He settles on sincere some time later, because he doesn't think this kid is capable of being mocking.)

Sora's in luck, because Leon's going to be stupid, naturally (as Leons do) and when some heartless fling themselves into another building in Darilsheid, he follows, because he's a knight who does that!!!

[ Well it's a good thing Sora's also spotted all those Heartless making their way into that building, because he can't just leave them — so he follows as well. And — what do you know! His new best friend Leon is already there. ]

Hey! It's you again! [ He says as he casually runs up to him, before realizing oh right he's a knight. ] Oh — I mean — [ saluting ] do you need assistance in here?

[ HE'S BEING AS POLITE AS HE CAN BE even if he's a little belated in realizing he should be. He's never been good at this but this guy seems super serious, so ...

[...An attempt was made, Sora. Leon is honestly kind of amused despite himself, not that he'll admit it. It's a nice recovery, even if way too little too late, and maybe it's Stahn's influence, but he feels less irritated than he'd thought he'd be.]
