if you play from a canon you know i'm familiar with you can probably just leave a blank post (with a canon point) and i'll throw sora into your world because he can do that

if not (or if you have other ideas or are a castmate) then you can write something up to start!!

[ As expected of a hero, honestly. Yayoi's nodding quickly and running after him-- and immediately freezing up because the source of the noise is way too many Heartless. ]

A-aren't there too many to be fair?!

[ He looks around, scanning the number of enemies here. He's fought way, way more, so the number isn't that daunting to him — his only concern is making sure none of them reach his new friend.

And he instinctively holds his arm up, as a way of putting a block between her and the Heartless.

Then he half turns his head back to her, his expression not really showing a hint of concern. ]

Nah, I've fought more. [ And then he turns his head back toward the Heartless. ] Just stand back, okay?

[thunderp]

... [ Instinctively, she's already got a hand on the arm he put in front of her, like she's not down with this. ]

I... are you really sure you'll be okay?

[ He looks confident, but it's not the easiest thing watching your new friend you just met two minutes ago charge off into battle on his own.

And she could help, she knows, but if she gives away that secret... DILEMMAS. ]

[heartkey]

[ —O-Oh. He glances back towards her then, treating her hand being there as something that's holding him back from starting to fight.

And he gives her a hopefully reassuring nod. ] Yeah, positive. [ He's really not scared! See? ]

Besides, we don't have any other choice, do we?

[ They can't run, considering that'd just leave the Heartless to either chase them or attack someone else. And his friends aren't here to help fight, so he's got to go this alone, right? No choice, but he's not complaining. ]

[thunderp]

[ ... When in times of trouble, Yayoi just has to think: What Would Miyuki Do?

The answer, unfortunately, is probably transform immediately and run screaming about spirit into a horde of darkness with arms windmilling. Yayoi's not that reckless or foolhardy, but after everything...

She finally takes a deep breath, ignore the trembling of her fingers please. ]

I-- I'll fight with you.

[ It's kind of hard to ignore the trembling in her fingers — or anything else he's learned about her personality since he's met her. So those words are naturally very concerning to hear from her.

And his previously calm expression turns to one of concern for her safety. ]

No way, it's too dangerous! Weren't you just running from them a minute ago?

[ Sorry, he's seen no evidence that she could handle something like that — he's only really seen the opposite ...

He's normally pretty open to letting people do things for themselves and fight, but none of those people have ever been as reserved and afraid as she's been. ]

B-because I-- [ okay look she's a wimp and a crybaby who just happens to love bugs and ghosts and giant robots and heroes so she's also sort of weird, but--

Okay no Sora has a valid point, but!!!!! ]

I just wasn't used to them! A-and I'm not going to let you fight alone, so--!

[ She'll at least let go of Sora's arm before the whole magical golden light happens, knocking a good chunk of the Heartless away.

Also this, although thankfully what actually happens will go largely unseen because of the aforementioned light. ]

[ And there she is, looking at least a little more competent. Cure Peace, the mighty. ]

I'll fight too!

[ Did she really just transform instead of convincing Sora with calm and logical reasoning, yes she did. Sometimes it's better not to waste time. ]

[ He's about ready to keep arguing that it's a bad idea for her, when suddenly the bright light happens and he's shielding his eyes with his arm. When he opens his eyes again, he notices many of the Heartless knocked back, as well as ... her new look??

Oh man he's not entirely sure of what just happened but ... ]

Whoa, was that some kinda transformation?! You can do that?!

[ IT'S COOL SO REGARDLESS OF WHAT JUST HAPPENED HE THINKS HE LIKES IT. ]

I guess you could say I'm a junior hero too.

[ Because she's not as flawlessly brave as actual heroes until you threaten her friends, honestly. But that at least gets her to smile. ]

[heartkey]

[ Ah, good, she's smiling. That, in turn, makes him happier himself. Not to mention how cool she is.

And he gives a strong nod, before turning his attention back to the Heartless and readying his Keyblade again. ]

Then let's take care of 'em together, fellow junior hero!

[ And now that he knows she's capable, he rushes off to start picking them off, slashing them with his Keyblade like he's done a thousand times before. ]

[thunderp]

[ "fellow junior hero"... the words make her beam, and then Peace is dashing in after him. Sora's got in front of him covered, so she'll pivot to place her back to his and raise two fingers to the sky. As a bolt of lightning crashes down out of nowhere, she flings both hands out and at the wave of Heartless, and with a roar, there goes the electricity.

Purifying is probably a little more electrifying when she does it, but still. ]

[ Uwoooo, she can use spells, huh! He couldn't help but look back at her when he noticed the flash of light from the lightning, smiling wide and then turning his attention back to the Heartless in front of him.

And as he rushes forward to slash out a few Heartless, he comments on it. ]

So you use magic, huh? That reminds me of a friend of mine.

[ Donald, of course — he knows others who can use magic, but fighting with her almost feels like fighting with Donald, a little. He's the magic-user he's been at the side of for so many battles, after all. ]

[thunderp]

[ If only she could heal!! She glances back over her shoulder, though, curious. ]

A friend of yours? Are they a junior hero, too?

[ Yes, please tell her you're comparing her to a talking, pantsless duck. ]

[heartkey]

[ It's okay. Donald can heal but he never does it anyway. So it's like they're the same. ]

Uh huh! We've been through a lot together. [ He speaks as he keeps on chipping at those Heartless. At least there's a noticeable amount of them gone now. ] So fighting with you feels kinda at home for me.

[ He is comparing her to a talking, pantsless duck, but lucky for her, he doesn't tend to describe his friends by what animal they are. ]

[thunderp]

[ Donald Duck is the Mitsuru Kirijou of Kingdom Hearts, clearly. But Peace nods, calling forth another wave of lightning to clear them on her end and backflipping to avoid another one. Well, at least her athleticism's improved. ]

I think I know what you mean. I'm not used to fighting alone, so I'm glad you're here.

[ Wherever her fellow Precure are, she was so sure she'd have to deal with this on her own... and so very relieved she doesn't. ]

I'm glad you're here too.

[ It's just like Sora to make insta-friends with the first person he sees in a new world. But he's genuinely happy things have turned out this way.

Whittling down the number of Heartless further, he notices there are finally only a few remaining. ]

We're almost there!

[ Here's to hoping there aren't any other hoards of Heartless this big elsewhere around here. ]

[ Here's hoping, indeed. LET'S NOT JINX THINGS, SORA.

But sooner rather than later, Peace can straighten up and take a quick look around-- and then look around some more. ]

Is that... all of them?

[ He straightens up, as well, after taking out the last Heartless in his vicinity, and then scans the area along with her. ]

I think so. [ And finally turning to her, a smile and a thumbs up. ] You were great!

[ Because what is refraining from complimenting your new friend who you didn't even know could fight in the first place. ]

[ O-oh. Peace colors for a moment, before flashing him a smile and a peace sign (of course). ]

So were you! You really know what you're doing.

[heartkey]

[ He smiles, his Keyblade dissipating before he puts his hands behind his head. ]

I guess I've been at it for a while. [ A couple games worth of fighting!! ]

[thunderp]

A while... I've only been doing it for a few months. I guess that might make you my junior hero-senpai?

[ Well. At least she's a senpai to some other Cures, so it's fine! ]

[ WELL technically he was asleep for a good chunk of the time he's been traveling. But thanks to worlds experiencing time differently, he can't really be all that sure how long it's been since he first started anyway. And it's not like he pays any attention to it in the first place. ]

Your senpai? [ Sounds like she means he's a senior to her? From her context clues. ] Yeah, I guess so. [ He thinks?? Maybe? ] But how long we've been doing it doesn't matter! A hero's a hero, no matter how long it's been!

[ Encouraging hero Sora, at your service. ]

[ Hm. ]

All heroes are really amazing!

[ But maybe junior heroes need to work to be as good as senior heroes?? ]

Sure are! [ He knows some cool heroes aside from themselves, too. ] And as junior heroes, we'll make sure this world is safe from the Heartless! Junior hero Sora, and junior hero — uhhh ...
