diplomatie[ SO at some point, they're out in the cold, snowy fields of Ishgard, just Alphinaud and his trusty Warrior of Light. Due to the sheer size of the area's land, they're forced to stop on the way to their destination and rest for the night, which of course requires finding firewood to start a fire — they'd freeze to death otherwise.
So with some time left in the day before the sun goes down, they decide on splitting up — Seto to find and prep a dry area for them, and Alphinaud to go off and find firewood. Okay, well, this was actually just Alphinaud's idea, because he sees this as more efficient, especially considering their limited time before sundown. But maybe it's not the best idea due to Alphinaud's general carelessness when going out on his own to procure wood. He knows what he's doing and enjoys being helpful!! But he's not exactly watching out for the monsters that are definitely in the area. ]
Ah, this one seems suitable enough. [ He speaks to himself as he reaches down to pick up another dry log.
Though as he does, he's suddenly ambushed by a monster, and Seto will probably hear his sudden shout.
