He'd only just barely arrived here, in this world, somewhere out in the fields, when he spotted a Heartless making its way into the town. So, naturally, he followed.
Unlucky for Magilou, these events lead to him interrupting a little show she'd been putting on for a few townsfolk. He's almost entirely oblivious to it, focusing on the Heartless more than his surroundings — so first, a small black creature runs right between Magilou and her small crowd, and then moments later, Sora comes barreling through, giant key in hand.
Also shouting, if running through her show weren't interruption enough. ]
